Sharon saw her hematologist today. Unfortunately her 'white blood cell count' has dramatically decreased since last week (rather than increasing). Dr. V is concerned but was reluctant to provide conclusions to her count until further testing is done.
Dr. V plans to do another blood/bone marrow biopsy sometime next week. And Sharon may be admitted at that time for her third round of chemo. Depending on the result of the biopsy the course of treatment may change.
Last week she had to go in to the hospital for a platelet transfusion so that continues to be of concern as well.
Please continue to pray for Sharon and for her will to FIGHT!
